i would say wait till the ipad3 comes out but the possibility of that coming out in autumn is now looking “unlikely” !
if some of the rumours are right id deffo wait for ipad3 still even more so if you gonna upgrade to iphone 5, near field communication anybody

You’re going to be waiting a good 18 months for LTE (4G) to be up and running on any networks. We've only been testing it for the last 6 months in our test plant and now live trials and we will still have to change all our backhaul to fibre to provide enough bandwidth as well.
IPAD2 do it ! don't forget quidco as well ! I get friends and family as well so cheaper line rental plus I may get discount on the pad as well.
