The game has some bugs and playing up on 3 screens so he's just playing it on one at the moment.
I was actually going to get a ASUS GTX 970, but i did read about it only being 3.5GB !! The only issue i have is I've built a mini itx machine Corsair 250D and the 290X will get to hot in it ! the GTX970 takes less wattage and runs cooler !..

Aye it sounds like it suits your build needs then. I'd hold on to my cash, grab the monitor and wait till the last moment to buy a new card.
I'd guess the 970 will fall in price very quickly over the coming months. might be at bargain prices soon.
