HELP

Managed to delete whole RvS from pc. Now reloaded and back up to 1.51 but cannot log onto MP games. Does not ask for CD key since reinstalled?

You downloaded the map packs???

You CD Key will be stored in the registry and also in sone config files and this is why you are not being asked.

If you tell us why you cannot go to MP games then we can help you more.

Maybe you did not delete properly the first time hence you did not get a clean install this time. DId you delete RvS by add-remove programs? If not then remove it via add-remove programs, make sure that you delete the rvs folder afterwards then re-install once again.

If you really wanna be thorough then edit your registry and remove everything connected with RvS too.

Have deleted for Add/Remove programs.( I am on XP ). Downloaded Registry cleaner and been through all drives removing anything Ubi or RvS. Reloaded and still no joy. Can direct to Ubi.com and my Straykat name is recognised but not through game on Multiplayer. Message comes up as ' CANNOT LOG ON TO UBI.COM'. Firstly - Are you running through a router or just an adsl modem?

Secondly - If you have AV and Firewall then turn them off to see if the problem lies there.

Thirdly - Can you join a MP game if you use the UBI interface rather than RvS itself?
