New to this site so thought i'd start off badly

Time for a new PC, me thinks.

What are alienware pc's like?

There appears to be a communication problem at home. The wife is I think saying I cant have another PC as I have 8 already. The problem is I'm not listening.

Can anyone suggest a solution for this?

Sell ones you have n just get 1 big one

the only reason I have 8 is I dont like putting everything on one PC.

I have my pcs split into the following:

1. Main PC (Win2k)
2. Music (Linux)
3. Images (Linux)
4. Movies (Linux)
5. General File Storage (Linux)
6. Email server (Win2k)
7. Backup (Linux)
8. Spare/Tester running firewall at the moment.

They all run through a 16port KVM Switch and access the net through a netgear websafe router.

Have decided to build my own new PC. Should I get the L337 of everything or should I get a slightly lower spec (it will still run all new games for the next year)???

Well it looks like the games industry is gonna force most peeps into an upgrade sooner or later.
My poxy AMD2000 512ram 64mbGraphix struggle to run games coming out at mo smoothly and to do so i have to set all details med-low.
So on that note id say get whatever gonna see ya right for a fair old while til ya need to upgrade again.
But with the imminant increase of popularity and decrease in price of 64mbit systems id say dont go over top
