TFT Monitors

Hey _A i been thinking and looking into ur monitor debate/choice, as i've finally accepted that my syncmaster 193v is after 4years of constant use starting to look washed out and has some backlight issues that are getting noticable. but seeing as i nicked it from PC World and its been turned on for 4 yrs near enuff non stop i still cant fault it.

I thought i'd mention to you that the brightness ratio isn't so much of a big think to have to look for, as i'll bet most of you guys here if you checked ur brightness it wouldn't be on full. so why worry about it?

and despite what forums and manufactuers say the naked eye cant see any difference between 2ms and 6ms, 1 of mine is a poor 25ms and the other a 16ms and i've never once noticed any fucking difference.

but the one thing that people seem to of missed is the black scale, with 1 of my monitors i cannot achieve black no matter what my contrast or brightness is set too as it is only 0.6cd, So i'd suggest a monitor of around 0.3~0.4cd.

I've decided to upgrade mine now and choosing between these 2
