PSP Questions

yeh,
you need your PSP at 2.70 (poss 2.80) or lower to be able to downgrade it to 1.50 using Devhook which flashes yer firmware so theres a small chance it could fook yer PSP totaly, but only a very small chance and only if you dont do exactly what the read me tells ya.
once downgraded to 1.50 get Dark_alexs 3.02 OE-A and 3.02 OE-B instalers, plug yer PSP into yer PC and run the instalers of yer desktop and yer done peace of piss, and that dont flash yer firmware so supposed to be safe. ya need the 3.02 firmware to get the PS1 emulator.

create folders in the root of yer memory card called ISO put ya games in there, VIDEO films go in there
mem card root/PSP/GAME and create a folder in there called SCUSxxxx (x= what ever number you like) and stick your PS1 games in there.

your PSP got higher fimware than 2.70 maybe 2.80 (cant remember) then yer fooked there isnt a downgrader for it, sell it and a get a pre downgraded from ebay itll save ya money in the long run

Yay, successfully downgraded from 2.71 to 1.5

Well with mine it actually screwed the existing firmware and rebooted into a recovery mode saying to hit &quot;O&quot; to go back to factory defaults (which I assume is how they forced the downgrade as it then came up as a factory defaulted 1.5). Unless you get a power cut in the middle and haven't got the battery charged, or have the serial number on the PCB indicated in the instructions as being incompatable then it can't really go wrong (although you do have to reboot a few times to get it the downgrader to cut in in the first place)

just put mine uptoo 3.03 OE-A,
suposed to have better support for compression of PSX game files
and there something on there now called P.TV looks like it could be wirelss tv, not sure because its in Jap <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt="" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> , ill av a look into it.

only done 2 games so far but it shrank 1 by 40%, and takes less than 2 mins for a 1GB file
