Anyone got SKY HD ?

Haven't got it, but tbh HD seems like pouring money down the drain. I look at the pic on widescreen and can't see anything wrong with it... seems like paying for extra resolution that most of us will never notice anyway with our aging fading eyesight

So is mine. Unfortunately the "20" refers to how many inches ahead I can see with each eye before everything's a blur...

Seriously though - what you need to ask yourself is "is the current picture crisp and clear?" I think resolution matters a lot more on a computer monitor inches from your face than on a TV on the other side of the room. Your best bet (assuming your telly is HD-ready) is probably to try and get some kind of trial to see if you can notice the difference - or get hold of the same movie on both DVD and Blu-Ray if you have a Blu-Ray player/PS3.

I've been buying up as much HD films as i can, they're are going for a song now and well worth it.
