BSOD & Bios Autorecovery? was created by Jest
My pc crashed last night, went very glitchy then i got BSOD.

When i finally managed to reboot the pc it did it again, then did a bios autorecovery, and worked fine for an hour or so.

Any ideas? should i be checking anything....?

Someone suggested a test programme, Os....something, cant remember, but time to be worried?

Try creating a memory dump file so when it does the BSOD it will store all the errors.

Could be a thermal issue but those tend to end in a black screen and the comp restarting.
BSOD in my experiance are driver/memory issues.

As _A mentions get into safe mode and run it in that for abit see if it errors out, safe mode only loads the very basic of drivers. If it works in that try updating/repairing your gfx drivers first, if it continues to error in normal mode.

One thing have you installed anything lately, might be worth restoring it to a time when it worked (if you have system restore running) can be done in safe mode.

(BSOD) is a critical windows operating system error. It can be caused due to a corrupt registry, bad DLL's or due to a physical dump of memory. When you boot up your computer, Windows will create a memory dump file and then you see the dreaded blue screen followed by a complete computer shutdown.

i use uniblue has a file cleaner . driver checker and a registry clean fixer
