The way I look at it is if your using a single card use the blue slot and if your doing crossfire use the white and black. Or use all three to run independent cards on 3 monitors!
But check page 49 of your manual and it will tell you.

this isnt for graphics card its for upgrading to usb 3.0

lol, if you get a pcie usb3 card it will go in the small black one or if you get a pci usb3 card it will go in one of the white pci slots !

It reverts to USB 2.0 in a normal PCI Express slot. Needs PCI express 2.0

lol no ive got one, i want to add a usb 3.0 card but it needs to be in a pcie 2.0 slot
