nice if u like all the shit equipment that comes as spec.. and then want to pay another £1000 to get decent forks and everything else

One thing i dont like is the brakes on that first bike..
Ok, they might be a slight bit better.. But still..
They are way too expensive for what they're worth..
And i dont talk about the brakes alone

it's especially the spare parts (the brakes itself, the disc)..
Also because they tend to need these spare parts changed very often

I rather like the normal mountain bike brakes..

mm tis a matter of preference pain... V brakes or Discs.. there is no doubt in my opinion though having had both, that at 30mph on a grassy descent discs stop u faster and more safelly. as for replacements ya shldnt need to change the pads that often
