Sorted MS Vista om my laptop and ...

If ur gonna try it, don't...

Vista in it self is not bad, i had no problem installing it and get it to work, but
everything else that you take for granted, dosent work.

My creative zen mp3 player dosent work, even thou creative have released some
Vista software for it, but they havent released the actual drivers.
My Canon digital camera.... not a chance.
My samsung laser printer i did manage to get to work, but i had to use PS (PostScript)
drivers, Samsung's own printer language made the spooling service crash.
The digital certificate i need to check my bank account dosent work.

I got a Business version of Vista and not the Ultimate version, which is the gaming
version of Vista, but i had to try some gaming. so i installed a copy BF2 on it and it
worked, but VERY badlly.
My laptop is a core 2 dual 2GHz, 1gig of ram, ATI x1600 with 256MB and
I got 10-15fps on the lowest settings possible.

So if you wanna try vista, wait 3 month atleast.

Ooo Well, at least ya didn't buy it !! I aint going to even bother until there are drivers etc for everything ya need to use in and out of ya Pc !!

you need the ultimate version for gaming...

Got my MP3 player to work, no dice with my camera thou
And if anyone's got any suggestions on a Anti-Virus app that works WELL
for vista??

dont get the OEM version of vista...

It's locked to one comp with the help of points.
You get 25 points on one copy of Vista OEM and if you upgrade
your comp u might have to buy it again:
