ati's hardware is better in the current run of gpu's but their drivers still aint up to scratch

Note i said the Geforce Cards, Ask T, hes another one who told me about it not long ago, theres a fault with em or summat, least that what ive been told and i did read it on some random forum when i was looking for driver updates for me card

I have the same card as G (GeForce MX440) and I've not had any problems. I do recognise the old general protection fault tho, but it hasn't happened to me in a long time.

Mine was running fine til i upgraded from 512mb RAM to 3GB, then every 5 mins RvS would crash with a general protection fault, but windows was fine. solved it by running the memory at 333mhz instead of 400mhz and worked sweet. since have upgraded BIOS and now works fine at 400mhz, so i agree that its possably the way your system is set up.
