Vent Problems

Ok rebuilt my machine without my sound blaster card everything working great except vent. people can hear me but i can only hear them if I turn my speakers on, no sound comes through the headphones. Cant really play BF2 with speakers on of it will wake the kiddie-wink up.
Anybody know where in the sound setup I should be looking

in your sound properties got to device volume (advanced)
you will get a play control panal go to Options and a box should come up make sure the Playback is on and the recording is off <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt="" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> think thats your problem
