Battlefield 3 PC Hardware Requirements

"Battlefield 3" hits shelves – or your handy Origin client – in just a little over a month, with a public beta starting on September 29. If you pre-ordered through the Origin service or trudged your way through a pre-ordered "Medal Of Honor," you should have special early access on September 27. In the meantime, PC gamers might be wondering about the minimum/required hardware specs. Luckily, EA and DICE revealed those today.


There's nothing shocking here, as the game appears like it will run on most semi-current rigs. Actually, the minimum specs are not that bad at all. Of course, minimum specs don't always translate to a smooth ride; maybe it's time to trade in that eight-year old Compaq.
