I expect I will. I think it is the BF4 engine, rather than the crappy BF1 and BF V.

They were all on Frostbite 3.0 but obviously fucked it up on BF1 and BFV. 2042 is the first game on Frostbite 4.0 but yeah hopefully will go back to BF3/4 style mechanics. Yeah hopefully smaller maps with different game modes as well.
