LAN file transferhelp

LAN file transferhelp was created by FcUK_D

i get slow transfer speeds, on my main pc it says in task manager and net connections that my link speed is 12Mbps, on the pc im transfering to it says 100Mbps.
is there a way of getting that 12Mbps up to 100Mbps?

Make sure ya running on 100mb full duplex on both machines. Because if there not the same setting,
ie one is 10mb half duplex and your other is 100 full duplex then you will get slow speeds.

yeh both are running on 100mb full duplex ive tried changing that to different things but just slow it down even more, so left it at 100mb

1 port on each, not using the lan port on my main pc cause the routers connected by usb

So your going through ya Router from one Pc to the other then ?

What's ya settings for file transfer on ya Router Web GUI look like ?
