Need a Graphics Card (yes, me too - Stupid Fucking Dell PC!)

Don't get me into the conversation of why I have a Dell PC. The thing is I just do, and I'm stuck with it for the forseeable.

UT2004 just crashed the PC twice within two minutes of starting, both times with a few seconds of glitchy graphics before going tits up. Checked the graphics card (GeForce 6800 PCIX) settings and temperature was redlining at 102 degrees (!?!?!).

Turned down the very minor overclocking on the card - no change.

Opened the case - noticed the graphics card fan had about 1mm clearance to the sound card. Moved the sound card to the other slot so there's a good 2cm or so now. Immediate change: the card is now running at 75 degrees.

Also noticed that the fan on the graphics card isn't running. Is it supposed to just cut in when it gets too hot or should I worry?

Other things is, I have 30 quid of Amazon vouchers to spend so figured I might put them towards a new graphics card anyway as this thing is starting to struggle with newer games like Vegas. Any cheap (anything in two figures) suggestions for better than my current 6800?

Just into three is okay as long as I can find it on Amazon to use those vouchers

And I can always write it off against tax next year!

Shit. Found it on Amazon at £180... bugger that, I'll use the vouchers for books and get it from ebuyer.
