Need a new monitor

i need to buy a new monitor because my old CRT is getting worse every day. i wanna buy a tft. but my problem is, that my hardware is pretty old and i need to run games at resolutions like 1024x768. my question is: if i buy a 22inch tft with a native resolution of 1650x1050, will it look totally shit if i play a game at a much lower resoltion? will it een be playable? i know the quality will be worse, but is it really that bad?

nope if ur used to playing at resolutions of 1024x768 and you start playing on a bigger monitor it wont make much difference it will still look the same as it did on ur old monitor except it will just be bigger .... hope ya understand this....


my monitor is capable of going upto 1440x900 and i play it at 1280x800 and looks ok to me

i got 22 inch on that also no probs wit it
