AMD processor

Been building myself two new machines for pure gaming.

Having awful trouble gettin my AMD 3200 64bit running at it's 3200 (2.4ish), only being recongized as 1700. on an MSI KT6 Delta LSR mobo. it's not the processor cos tested it in another machine. so as soon as i've sorted it, i'll b back to rape some FcUK'ers.

PS. this is my first AMD processor, and wish i had stuck with intel now. cheap imatations... tut

Will be getting the same processor next week, fuck this AMD crap. I only just built new machine. old one was P4 1.9 with 1.5gb SD-RAM and still raped.

Lad i work with is having same prob so il keep you up to date if he figures it out

u need to go into bios and manually set FSB speed and other settings in order for it to work

u will find on a google search for 'AMD *insert chip here* speed' or other close searches people optimum settings in order to get the correct speeds from it. some will be overclocked speeds but it will specify somewhere exactly what bios settings to have

I got it sorted 10 mins after making the first post..
But even having an AMD 3000 FSB400, still only just outperforms my old P4
