its a sad thing when someone gets busted for cheating, even sadder when its someone you know, even sadder when its someone in your own damn clan

Here are a few tips that might help u recognize if someone is cheating (Ive promised I'd give it to Gut8 so there you go)

watch out for players who:

- can shoot soon after they have started reloading

- players that shoot in the air at the start of every second round - some do it in order to decrease their average accuracy as displayed at the end of each round (as their aimbots and no recoil/ locked ret scrips make it come up as unusually high, eg 50+% or better on adver)

- guns that hardly shake or dont shake at all (eg they are set to full auto yet their gun hardly moves due to no recoil script)

- guns thats shoot faster than normal

- players who prefire and "misteriously" hit another player who will appear a half a second later (and I dont mean early in the round when you can expect players to pop up at certain spots). Or players who shoot thru walls or doors "at the right time".

- players who seem to know the position of the enemy and always pop up at the right spot to take you down and then find others almost instantly without searching around for them

- during the first round of a match - if you think u hit someone (especially if you hit someone a few times) and they didnt die or get gimped press TAB to make sure you really hit them (see if any bullets actually reached the target). If you did and they were not affected by it they might be using god mode or armor hack (light armor can be hacked as well by the way). If you keep track of ur hits you can keep checking it in the following rounds as well.

- players who can "see" incoming frags even though they shouldnt be able to due to their location / position

- players that are immune to flash

for pb admins: take screenshots as seen from 1st person perpective of suspicous players, if they have closed ret

it's kinda obvious they have perfect aim on; If the screenshot comes up black the player uses anti SS protection, again it's obvious they are cheating

Sometimes the ret will look normal yet the gun will act as if the ret was locked and had no recoil. If possible try to find bullet patterns on walls etc if the holes are not spread apart as they should then u know it's fishy

speedhacks and remote charge thingies are not very common (cuz they are easy to spot) so no need to write about them i think

that's all i can think of right now, I hope this will be of some use

As I said before the only reason I did it was to test how it works so I could recognize it when I played adver and to know the capabilities of it. What Ive have seen is... scary and was one of the major reasons why I quit playing RVS altogether. It's difficult for me to believe in fair play, unless you play with someone you know and trust. I understand that testing can serve as no excuse and I was prepared for the consequences..
