The black screen problem

This is for FcUK N to try, ive had the black screen problem in other games and its due
to your card being prepared to play the game instead of the in game movie (intro)

go to your desktop exe icon, right click on it and go to properties, find target name,
at the end of target name there is exe"
make sure you leave one space <!-- s:!: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_exclaim.gif" alt="" title="Exclamation" /><!-- s:!: --> and type -skipmov so it should look like this:
exe" -skipmov
apply and ok, hope this solves your problem m8.

ok i don't have the problem but i wanna skip the intro movie so what do i do? this is what i got: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +playNow 0 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
where do i put the skip movie thing?

at the end but make sure you put a space

you can go to your exe file in the c drive and create a short cut to your desktop, then do as i said above m8, good luck

_N m8, I didnt think that it was a start up issue more an online/ingame problem; anyhow given what lod is saying a few easier things for you,

on the sortcut properties change the +fullscreen 1 to +fullscreen 0 (opens in windowed mode).

As for the movies something that I've done which get rid of all the movies, intro and menu is goto C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies; and rename all the files in there from the file type .bik to something like .bikold

This cuts out the crap at start-up and the movies behind the menu.
