Just wanted to pop my head in and say lo to everyone

Sorry for disappearing a few months back. Spent the last few months a bit under the weather, haven't been playing anything at all (even let the WoW account expire...). Spending most of my time dosed up on Venlafaxine now.

Currently trying to put my life back together piece by piece. PC decided to get the lurgy last month, so it was sheer joy (not) rebuilding it all from scratch. Graphics card is feeling a bit iffy, but is holding together (seems to get the occasional glitch where a vertex flies off into the distance, can be weird watching someone walking along and suddenly theres a 200 ft protrusion out of their arm....). Can't really afford to replace it atm so hoping I can limp along with it for a bit longer.

Trying to grab COD4 to take a look. Might pop in to get shot at if it's any good

Ordered from Play.com. Ruddy bank holiday will delay it. Hope to see it around the end of the week. Mic on headset is knackered so will try and find a seperate one (if you hear rattling, it'll be cause I'm wearing two headsets!)

Got a *cough* preview to look at while I wait for the delivery.

Looks fcukin nice Feels like a nice halfway point between BF2 and RvS. Just a shame it pushes my graphics card to breaking point - after a couple of minutes I get stretching textures across half the screen. Just finished the SP game on normal difficulty - nice epilogue mission in the jet Can just about cope with the stretchy textures when fighting AI, but I reckon I'll get murdered when facing real people...

So... decided to blow some of this weeks giro on a new card. Nothing amazing, just a [url=http&#58;//www&#46;ebuyer&#46;com/product/132319/show_product_specifications?spectype=extended:1tnqpv5r]2600 Pro for 30 quid[/url:1tnqpv5r] but anything is better than having half the buildings stretch across the screen blocking the targets.

Hmm, now I think about it I just wasted 30 quid, as even if I can see everything clearly I'm still gonna get murdered

Just need to hunt for a working mic now.
