Damn ISP

Hey up guys,

Just had a nice email from my ISP saying its closing down, apparently it had been aquired by sky and sky has decided to close it with no migration.. just a nice email saying your internet will be turned off on the 14th of jan 2011 tough shit but if you still want internet look at bskyB as your next provider.

Anyway, need your opinions on ISP's I'm thinking of moving from adsl back to fibre so that means BT infinity or Virgin, but want to check in with you guys before I commit just to see what sort of service you get....

been with sky for about 2 years i think now and happy with it, never had any probs good price and good speed, speedtest 13.5meg usually
not bad for cornwall
thankfully i havent needed to use there help line but i think most after sales help are all shite now anyway

if you can get Virgin then get it at what ever speed you want.

Been with them for 9 years first when they where NTL brilliant service and you always get a bit extra. What I mean by that is I have a 10 meg connection with Vigin but the speed I get is 12 and half.

Its always been like that ever since i've been with em. You get a little extra <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

I am also very much part of the clan still I aint goin anywhere. The simple fact is im broke lads and can't afford to buy blops at the moment.

But its good cos they're still ironing out the creases so come xmas i'll grab it.

And also see if the game is worth it cos by then you guys will no if its a stayer or not.

Also just to add had anyone thought about the expansion for Bad Company errr the Vietnam one, is that on the list for anyone?
