bf2142 No internet connection detected problem

Just started to get this this evening
when i start BF2142 up it takes about a minute for the loading screen to show up and then when you get the EA logon screen it says "no internet connection detected"
I can alt tab out of the game and click on internet explorer and my internet is working fine.

I checked my firewall and

what the hell is going on!!!

what virus scan are u using

if its mcafee have u got piracy killer installed ???

mmm dunno but try and disable all ur virus scanners and firewalls then see if game runs if not sry m8 not got a clue

i had connection problems as well _E
had to manualy port forward the 15 or so ports it says in the 2142 book on my router
and had to uninstall Zonealarm before i got a connection, even turning Zonealarm off didnt work had to uninstall the bugger.

I buggered arround with the ports but it did not any difference. Rebuilt the machine now. See if that works
