Live in sticks so won’t be that good, plus Fibre in one aspect is better than Copper,
but with ADSL you can get a good direct con to game servers etc with fibre they go round the houses before getting to London ,
But I’m happy with 3mb/s down and 0.8mb/s Up.
And I use Usenext so get full speed all day long.

I've always preferred Cable over ADSL, due to if you dont live close to a dsl exchange your speed will be terrible compared to someone paying the same price for same connection and getting better speeds than you. plus with all the companys in the UK now offering adsl the lines are getting overly congested as 90% of UK suppliers use BT's lines.
My speedtest is quite poor on speedtest.net, but when actually utilizing my connection properly when downloading i can reach my full 10mbit, it doesn't help with my connection going thru 1 computer and a cheap belkin router with cheap manhatton ethernet cables, plus i have 3 computers and my 360 using my broadband, normally all at once.
Altho i am double the distance from the server from you Andy and got a smaller latency

If I could get Cable I would give it ago but I can’t get it !! But BT are in the process of rolling out their 21cn and by 2011 it will be in all households.
So everything will be done over IP and Bandwidth should be much greater cause it's a different technology, no old Copper Line issues.
