can i install XP on a HDD in this pc then move that HDD to another rig?
this pc is a lot faster than the other and will save a bit of time, but thinking that XP will install the necessary drivers for this hardware, is that right?

It may not work due to the Motherboard being different most other hardware bits you can get round but on one Motherboard to another I think you may have to fuck about to get it to work. Just install it on the right machine and let it install slowly ! less hassle !.
