Americas Army 3

Just grabbing Americas Army 3 off Steam, its free.

I used to play this alot way back in the BX days, it was pretty good and had some great games out of it.

I'll give it a wirl and let you know what its like now with the new GFX and maps and what not.

Ok got it going but it freeezed when joining MP games but i found a fix for it.

The fix was done by some guy out of a clan anyway the fix also gets you past a few training exercises like the medical one, i've just done the mount one.

Not got into MP yet.

Anyway here is what to do right after you have it installed.........................


Download the fix from the following location:

http://www.americasarmy.com/includes/bu ... lient.fmap


Then copy and paste the file into the following location:


*Steam Version: Steam/Steamapps/Common/Americas Army3/Binaries/

*Deploy Version: UsArmy/Americas Army3/Binaries/

If you downloaded it off steam then follow the steam path otherwise if you just downloaded it and installed the usual way then follow the deploy path.

Ye I had a little go last night on a server with about 20 people in, I got mullard.

But it was 4 am and only 1 game.

I'll be giving it a good go this afternoon, but it is more or less the same as AA2 with better gfx. Not cod4 standard gfx wise but the tactical game play is still there which I enjoyed last time i use to play it.

It won't be everyones cup-of-tee but i like it, just hope we can get a few of playing it. <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Got this last night through steam and to be honest the game is just so buggy at the moment

its shyt i had aa for 5 min is crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
