Just thinking. The old RvS maps should work with new weapons and stuff as they're seperate files, but the new game modes wont work. They're built into the map so unless AS somehow patches these maps with spawn support etc, I don't see us playing the the old RvS maps with the new modes. If it comes down to it, we can always open up the old maps in the map editor and stick in the new mode spawns! It would mean everyone who wants to use the server would need to download the new map versions but it would be alright once everyone had them.

I think some older maps would be great with the newer modes.

well even if ya have to do that mate you could just make them into map packs like the others have been, im sure someone like platoon would dish it out to everyone if need be

You're right G. I feel that even if I bothered doing it, some other guy would do it a lot better and faster and that would be what everyone downloads, and not my shoddy reworking.
