Problem solved! Applied a No-CD crack and it worked!! It might've been my old DVD drive was letting me down then. I've got some funny menu's going on now tho. Says "model_&lt;insert button name&gt;" for all of my menu buttons. How wierd.

Do you reckon? You could be right. I was gonna buy a new DVD drive anyway, so I'll do that and begin playing when I get it just to make sure. It's just good to finally work out what the likely problem was. I didn't consider it altho I should've seeing how old the drive was!
