yes m8 as you know different substances have different thermodynamic properties and change state under different temperatures and pressures

indeed a whole range of substances has been manufactured to serve the needs of heat transfer process. These substances are referred to as refrigerants.
Modern refrigerants are produced from fluorinated hydrocarbons

True, these refrigerants are used to absorb heat from either air or water to reduce their temperature (endothermic).

And conservley the energy absorbed by the refrigerant must also be removed (exothermic) from the refrigerant to allow the refrigerant to be used again
