Hello,

For a clan which states "no team killing" on its BF2 server message, at least one of your clan members seems remarkably flexible with interpreting that rule.

I was on FcUK server handling a minigun in a Black Hawk when the FcUK pilot landed the 'copter. FcUK_Sss exited the crew compartment, walked over to my position, and shot me point blank. There was no reaction from any of the FcUK members on the server when challenged, even in the harshest of terms.

Now I know that your server is your server, but it would seem logical that if you impose a rule on your server, clan members owning it at least [i:2d2yrcx6]do[/i:2d2yrcx6] live up to the rule.

Aside from that, I'm pretty sure that the other FcUK clan members were on TeamSpeak or Vent when _Sss pulled his little stunt. No doubt the team kill was orchestrated.

If you as clan members wish to thoroughly use the Black Hawk exploit and would like to handle a minigun yourself, all you have to do is push a button on your keyboard, write down a question directed at me, and then press enter. It's really as simple as that - you don't have to be a Gung-Ho a-hole and break one of your own rules.

That's all.

Hi Perseus,

Firstly I apologize for shooting you, but BF2 doesnt tell you who else is in the chopper, even when you aim at them.

Our pilot (another clan member) was making complaints that the right-hand gunner was idling and it was causing problems to the whole chopper as the gun wasnt being fired. Normally we'd boot the offender, but as I mentioned above BF2 doesnt tell you who you're flying with.

In the end I offered to TK the gunner if the chopper was landed and on consultation with other admins was told to go ahead and do it.

Sorry, but doesn't schtick.

First, gunner idling, yes - it can be quite hard to pick an enemy target when the only thing you're looking at are cold air currents. I.e., gimme a scenic view of a hot area and it will be full of lead before you can say "team kill". But I wasn't given a clear view of a hot zone because the pilot (can't remember who it was, either _U, _R or _E) wasn't doing his gunners a favour but flying only to pick up clan mates.

Second, you exited the chopper and aimed your shotgun at me. As it is impossible for opposing soldiers to occupy a spot in the chopper, you knew I was on your side. So whatever the name of the guy behind the minigun, whether it be me or anyone else, a deliberate team kill is a deliberate team kill. And according to your own standing rules, deliberate team kills are not allowed on your server.
Again, there is always the possibility to ask something in the order of, "starboard gunner in Black Hawk, this is [name], plz vacate your position, cuz [reason]".

But you didn't do any of that because you lot were feeling pressed for time as there wasn't much of it left and you wanted to quickly resolve the matter, and so you decided to TK me (or anyone who would have been in my place at the time).

So aside from apologising to me, _Sss, you might want to consider apologising to your own clan as well.

Perseus chill m8 i would of did the same as S if you are sitting in a Black-Hawk and not fireing the Gun it lets every1 down in that chopper

My rules are if you aint shooting and sitting ideling on a mini gun kick
if you fly out a spawn and 5 people are sitting there waiting to get in the chopper kick

but if you cant see there name when they are on the Gun land and Blow his head off

if this upsets any1 Tuff ower server we pay for it if you dont like it then dont join it ok

I suggest you read a post properly before you write something. Again:

Then you state that, as a rule, you'd kick. That's different from a deliberate team kill, something which FcUK is (logically) against.

And its not a question of me moaning about nothing or not chilling out, it is simply that you don't want people to do something nasty on your server and then one of you lot goes ahead and does that nasty thing himself. Your choice indeed but then change your server message to "we teamkill when we feel necessary, if you don't like it, fcuk off" or something. Because before you know it, people who frequent your server will go "aha, that 'no teamkilling' warning is crap cuz see? The clan members are doing it themselves!"

All I'm asking for is some consistence, that's all.
